1819 News Independence Day Special: What Our Founders Believed and Why with Glenn Sunshine

by | Bible & Theology, Church History, Culture & Society, Politics & Economics, Video

What better way to celebrate our nation’s independence than to look into the beliefs that made it possible. This week Bryan sits down with Christian Political Theology expert and historian, Glenn Sunshine, to discuss exactly what it is that our founders believed about the BIble and how that influenced their fight. They trace the roots of the political theology/theory that our founders possessed that fueled their fight against tyranny and how we can draw from that well in our own fight today.

Behind The Scenes: Bryan and Glenn discuss the Black Robed Regiment, the pastors who served as chief recruiters of the revolution and what today’s pastors can learn from that. They also discuss what should be done about our current government refusing to protect our God given rights: life, liberty, property (pursuit of happiness).
