Does the Bible Contradict Itself Regarding the Day of the Crucifixion?

by | Apologetics, Bible & Theology, History, Video

Dr. Glenn Sunshine addresses the question, Did Jesus die on Passover? If the first three synoptic Gospels are correct, then Jesus inaugurated the Lord’s Supper “on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb” (cf. Matt. 26:17; Luke 22:1). But John’s Gospel places it “before the feast of the Passover” (13:1), which was the day before the crucifixion on which “they might eat the Passover” (18:28). Glenn offers some plausible solutions to the seemingly contradictory texts in this short video.
